Italian art in Monaco Montecarlo

Art Monaco: The painter and sculptor Cesare Catania exhibits in the Grimaldi Forum
Art Monaco. After having repeatedly amazed the critics and the press of the whole world, after having received from
some English magazines the nickname of the “Modern Leonardo da Vinci”, the Italian artist Cesare
Catania returns to exhibit in Monaco with two unique works of their kind.
Description of the Artworks
The shocking sculpture entitled “The Man who does not See” and the refined and elegant painting entitled
“Harlequin in the Land of the Giants” will be officially presented for the first time at an international
level.
«Man lives thoughtlessly in the society that surrounds him …» This is the reflection of the artist who
comments his own sculpture, which is a work of art that seems to literally come out of the canvas.
Then the second work has a completely different style, a surrealist oil painting on canvas that represents
Harlequin concentrated of running onto a sand chessboard in a reality much bigger than him. Also in this
case the similarities between the Harlequin, a character so dear to the author, and the human race.
Sculpture
Besides during the exhibition there will also be the sculpture entitled “The Mouth of Etna“, a contemporary work of art
in which the Italian master expresses his inspiration by demonstrating how it is possible to link materials
so unlike from each other like steel, silicone, acrylic and natural pigments.

The three works of art can be viewed at the stand Cesare Catania ART within the Top Marques 2018
exhibition, which will be held at the Grimaldi Forum from 19th to 22nd April, during the Rolex Masters
Tennis Cup week.
